Really, I just like to run and travel. That’s it. The bio I use for presentations is below.
Speaker Bio:
Growing up on the mountains of North Vancouver and in a family of overachievers Rob learned at an early age to set the bar high. In his early teens, Rob decided upon football as his sport of choice. Upon graduation from high school, Rob accepted a full-ride scholarship to play football at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, under the legendary and tough coach, Earle Bruce.
Returning home to Vancouver, Rob pursued acareer in sales and marketing eventually landing in a small start-up internet company. He was lucky enough to ride the wave of the internet craze of the late 90’s and then exit as the market took a downturn. His work in the internet world provided the funding for an around-the-world backpacking trip that started in Bangkok and ended in Rome with his partner, Michelle. Traveling proved to be a life altering experience for both Rob and Michelle and set the course for a never ending thirst for adventure that eventually led to extreme ultra-marathons.

hmmm – how do i say this without sounding totally cornball and hormonally mushy. . . i’m really grateful that i have by chance (and somewhat by force via facebook stalking) stumbled upon your blogs and weirdly – or intentionally – am starting to feel like i know my brother in law a whole new way. it’s too bad that this didn’t come earlier, however as the saying goes “life stuff like this only presents itself when it’s meant to. . . ” (as you can probably tell i paraphrased a little
)
anyhow, i ramble,
keep on writing and you definately do have another loyal follower of your blog and maybe one day we’ll actually sit down and have the time to have some face to face getting to know each other. . . i don’t know why it surprised me but we seem to have very similar minds and more in common than i really ever thought.
love and hugs, jen
